The Thorsson Collection
The Thorsson Collection is a private collection featuring, among other things, tableware and fine porcelain from three Danish faience and porcelain manufacturers, as well as artworks by renowned Danish and international Golden Age painters.
The Shop
At the shop at Thorslundgård, you can purchase crops, plants, flowers, and beautiful items for your home. The shop is also your first stop for ticket sales. Follow the signs to the shop.
The Gardens
Visit the country garden at Thorslundgård, where the focus is on self-sufficiency and rural charm. Here, you can enjoy the peaceful countryside atmosphere, greet the animals, and learn more about small-scale farming.

Thorslundgårdin Skamby was built by the farmer Jens Peter Olsen after large parts of the previous farm further up the road were destroyed by fire. By 1915, the farm was completed and the family moved in. The property was named Lundsgårdand operated as a farm specialising in pig breeding. The farm was of such a size that it was classified as a manor farm.
As early as the 1920s, the family began establishing the garden, parts of which are still preserved today, including the old woodland and the property’s very own ancient passage grave.
In 2024, Jesper and Mathias purchased the farm and renamed it with a desire to live a more self-sufficient life and with a dream of creating a visitor destination beautifully situated in the North Funen countryside. As part of the purchase, the farm was renamed Thorslundgård.
